PHP / MySQL PROGRAMMER

Primary Function:
To develop applications to meet the company’s or client’s needs.

Qualifications:
2 years minimum experience in developing PHP/MySQL applications in a Linux platform.
Web Services using SOAP/XML-RPC, AJAX , and using other PHP libraries or framework is a plus.
Can work with less supervision, under pressure and has great analytical skills.

MySQL DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR

Primary Function:
To research, evaluate, plan design, allocate, implement, support and optimize all aspects of the online MySQL databases.
Works with application development projects to evolve the database architecture and design.

Qualifications:
2 years minimum experience in designing, developing, tuning, optimizing, deploying, and updating MySQL instances in a high volume transactional environment with critical uptime requirements
Must have configured and managed replication/standby instances of MySQL
Must have configured and managed online backup technologies in MySQL and ensure disaster recovery and data retention protocols (backup, monitoring, security, installation)
Must have an expert knowledge of all MySQL configuration parameters
Excellent troubleshooting and performance tuning skills, ability to design scripts/automated tools using shell, PL/SQL
Drives for continuous improvement; may include design, definition of roadmaps, standardization of processes and methodologies
Experience other relational databases a plus
Experience with clustering is a plus
